Description

IMPORTANT

Remember that this guide was built by dA users(As suggested ideas), it is what mostly everyone think about them, before posting anything harmful, I warn you that some cliches are somehow mean, while some are true, some can be untrue as well, it depends on the way you think toward them. If your story has one or several of them, that does not disqualifies your story as bad or overused story, also remember that not everything in this world is 100% accurate, and there is Artists that add strangeness to their styles which makes them unique in some way, sorry if anything down this insults your style.

Purpose

The purpose of making this guide is to help those who are trying to avoid cliches of any kind releated to wolf series.
I hope this helps you out! =Roneri

  1. Color's Cliches: Color Codes

  2. Who happens to come across those designs that are 100% pure white or black?

        255 255 255

A real wolf is not 100% white NEVER nothing in the world is 100% white!(talking about natural stuffs, not human materials).

Well an idea is that a character should be 100% white, it messes up with some pages that have set 255 255 255(Color code) as for they color.

For example, I will never design something with such color, all my creations are rather under 250 250 250 or 245 245 245!

        0 0 0

This one is a more detailed example, character with 0 0 0(Color code) set as black color messes up with the lineart and is impossible to see! theres nothing 100% black, theres no wolves with such 100% darkness, they are rather have white or brown patterns in them.

I will never design one with this kind of colors, my black limit is 8 8 8(As for code). and annoying cliche could rather be the evil wolf with set 0 0 0 as for pelt color, aka meaning of ''darkness'', same goes to the white wolf meaning ''light''

Not quite sure if people understand this cliche XD
Enjoy XD

I really hate using "pure" white or black. It looks unrealistic, doesn't fit in with pack pictures AND I actually find it harder to shade.
